A quality management system is a collection of business processes focused on consistently meeting customer requirements and enhancing their satisfaction. It is aligned with an organisation's purpose and strategic direction. It is a set of policies, processes and procedures required for the planning and execution within production, development or service as the core business area of an organisation.
This course covers the topics usually found within a quality management system and the managing thereof. The course is structured on a modular basis and consists of eleven modules. A learner may register to complete the entire program or selected modules. A written questionnaire has to be completed at the end of each module.
Should a learner complete all modules successfully, a certificate of completion will be issued.
Production managers, production pharmacists, quality control pharmacists, pharmacists wishing to enter the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy interns, senior production technologists will benefit from the course.
The level of the course is that of pharmacists and persons with tertiary qualifications or those with experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Material is presented as a distance learning course where the learner progresses at his/her own pace for a period of up to 6 months.
