Medicine registration in South Africa

OBJECTIVES To provide the knowledge and skills required for competence in medicine regulatory affairs management, including completion of MRF1 and CTD form. In addition learners will get a working knowledge of the Medicines Authority in South Africa as well as international regulatory trends. Knowledge acquired will include registration procedures for complementary medicines, veterinary medicines, medical devices and non-medicinal products. The full course has been updated in 2015 and include the latest regulations on devices and complementary medicines. ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS Intended for pharmacists or technically orientated people following a career in medicine regulation. Qualifications as a pharmacist or previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is assumed. DURATION 5 day attendance course
